Dear Parents and Guardians, 

Last Friday’s Resilience Assembly, organized by students in the extracurricular Sports Club under the leadership of our Physical Education Learning Leader, Sra. Shutt, brought incredible energy to our school community as students heard from two inspiring guest speakers, Laurie Skreslet, the first Canadian to summit Mt. Everest, and Laura Lee Crook, Director of CADS Calgary, who shared insights into adapted snow sports. Their messages about perseverance were complemented by appearances from past alumni celebrating resilience and student accomplishments in intramurals and on our school teams in soccer, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. We also officially opened our climbing wall with fresh routes, where Sports Club students had the unforgettable opportunity to climb alongside Laurie. We look forward to carrying this momentum into the week ahead.
