Dear Parents and Guardians
¡Buenos días!
We had a fantastic day today with the opening of the new basketball court. The driving force behind this project were our students and you can be very proud of your children. Without their vision, dedication, and passion this project would not have been realized. Big thank you also to the Parent Association and School Council who were instrumental in finishing this large project. I would also like to acknowledge our community partners, Triwood Community Association.
We are looking for parents/guardians who would like to actively take part in the School Council and/or Parent Association. Almost all of positions need to be filled. If you have been thinking about getting involved in the past – now is the time.
Our first meetings of the School Council and the Parent Association will be on Wednesday, September 18, at 6:30 pm online via Teams. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like more information about either group of involved parents/guardians.

Spanish for Parents/Guardians
Chinook Learning Services offers courses specifically designed for parents and caregivers of CBE Spanish Bilingual students. For Fall 2024, Chinook Learning Services is offering Spanish for Parents – Level 1 . This eight-week course will help parents of bilingual students learn or refresh their Spanish language skills, build their network of bilingual parents, and support their children’s learning at home.
Chinook Learning will be offering Spanish for Parents – Level 1 in the fall. Course: Spanish for Parents – Level 1
Date: Tuesdays, October 8, 15, 22, 29 & November 5, 19, 26 & December 3
