Dear Parents and Guardians,

 SPB needs your help and support. Due to our reduced number of students (from 790 down to 550) our funding has significantly reduced and if we want to continue to offer many of the things we have offered in past we will need your support. Here is how you can help:

  1. Consider volunteering for our casino slot on Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10. This is by far the most important fundraiser for us as it raises the highest amount of funding. We still need 20 more volunteers – could you be one of them? Please see for more details below.
  2. Consider donating to SPB via Education Matters. It’s very easy and only one click away: https://ematters.papercrane.ca/project-matters/senator-patrick-burns-school/. Your donation will receive a tax receipt.
  3. You can send a cheque to our Parent Association via our school office. Unfortunately, your donation will not receive a tax receipt this way. Please contact Karilynn Simpson (karilynn.simpson@gmail.com)  for more details.

 SPB Parent Association – Casino Volunteers

The SPB Parent Association needs you for our largest fundraiser for our school. We will require over 40 volunteers for our casino being held at Cowboys Casino on Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10.
