Dear Parents and Guardians,
One of the things that students and teachers appreciate immensely at SPB are our expansive green spaces outside our school. Often, when we have visitors, they point out how much green we have around our building and how well it is used during the day. Our PE department uses outdoor spaces as much as they can when the weather permits it and our Outdoor Education classes use them year around, currently for frisbee golf, cycling or in winder for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. During lunch, Broncos are scattered all around, hanging out, reading, running or playing with their friends. A bonus are the beautiful views we have from most of our windows into the massive park outside. Senator Patrick Burns is very lucky to have this much green space which is maintained by the City of Calgary. We do not take it for granted and appreciate it year around.
Kind regards,
Sr. Ludwigsen, Principal
