Dear Parents and Guardians

This week, we received new funding for more technology for SPB. Whereas in the past we were able to use Parent Society funds to purchase extra technology, we are now strictly bound to a CBE funding model. If we purchase our own technology, we will receive less funding from the CBE. The good news is that we will receive 66 new Chromebooks which will allow us to set up the Computer Lab in the Learning Commons again which will allow 34 students to access technology at one time. The extra 32 computers will be made available equitably to learners via Chromebook carts. SPB students’ learning will benefit greatly from the new technology which will be available at the end of March.

Have a great weekend!
