Dear Parents and Guardians, This week we celebrated the CBE Festival De Cine (1era edición) at Crescent Heights High School. The winners of the SPB Festival De Cine went head-to-head with the winners of the other Spanish Bilingual Schools in the CBE. By the end of the day, SPB came home with 8 out of the 12 possible categories:
Our students won grade 6, 8 and 9 People's Choice:
- La reunión | Dentro del bosque | Cambiando pantallas
- Grade 6 and 9 best use of Spanish:
- Vacaciones inesperadas | Solo contigo and grade 6, 8 and 9 best film! La reunión | Dentro del bosque | Cambiando pantallas
We are trying to find an opportunity to share the winning film with a wider audience so stay tuned.
Have a great weekend.

Music / Band / Summer Concert
Due to Sr. Melchin being away on a month-long leave, Sra. Ramage has taken over all music and band lessons as well as band practices after school for the duration of his absence. Unfortunately, this also means that we will have to cancel the summer concert, but we will give all bands the opportunity to perform during our pep rally end of June. Thank you for your understanding and support.
