An ArtfullOpportunity for CBE Students ( for all CBE students)
Calling all Calgary Board of Education students, teachers, and caregivers! We are looking for new artwork to feature on our donor thank you cards. Whether it’s a recent creation or something brand new – we want to showcase it! While any imaginative piece is welcome, we’re especially keen on artwork capturing local landscapes, Indigenous storytelling, nature, or the joy of kids at play.

The Canadian Art Inspiration Student Challenge
Winter submissions will be accepted online January 15 – March 29,2024.
How it Works
Each year, students in Grades 7 through 12 are invited to create original artworks with accompanying artist statements inspired by leaders in Canadian art history. Applicants are encouraged to interpret this theme as broadly as they wish and to create works in any media.
A student submission consists of the completed submission form (including the artist statement), and a high-resolution image of the artwork. Completed submissions can be sent to contest@aci-iac.ca.
