Dear Parents and Guardians,
This week, I want to congratulate our two BroncoBot teams for the completion of a phenomenal robotics season. Both teams did remarkably well, considering that they were two of only three middle school teams amongst 29 high school teams, which is a tremendous accomplishment. A special thank you to Sra. Van Eerden and Sra. Newburn for giving up so much of their free time to support this club this season as well as the endless hours so many parent volunteers have invested into our BroncoBots teams. A big thank you also to all our sponsors who enabled us to take part in this robotics competition.
On Wednesday, we are looking forward to inviting students from our three community feeder schools (Capitol Hill, University School and Briar Hill School) to visit our school. Due to the redesignation of the Grade 6 Spanish Classes, we don’t expect any parents of current Grade 5 students in our Spanish bilingual feeder schools. Feel free to come and visit us on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. I have attached the flyer with all the information below.
Have a good weekend and stay warm.

Yearbook Group Photo - Grade 6 Volleyball Tournament
We are excited to inform you that a group photograph will be taken of the Grade 6 volleyball tournament participants on Thursday, February 20, at the start of lunch. Please note the following important details:
1. Arrival and Dress Code
Students must first check in with their lunch supervisor before heading to the main gym. They should then change into their full gym strip, including athletic shoes, for the photo.
2. Timeliness
It’s important that students arrive promptly to ensure they are included in the group photo.
Additionally, if any parents/guardians have any photos from the volleyball tournament that they would like to contribute for the yearbook, please send them to Sra. Panrucker at ispanrucker@cbe.ab.ca, with the subject line "Grade 6 Volleyball Tournament Photos."
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to capturing this memorable moment for the yearbook!
Fee: $309 per person or $429 per couple
