Dear Parents and Guardians

This Thursday, we welcomed His Excellency Alfredo Martinez Serrano, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, and Mr. Berrozpe Peralta, Education Attaché to Canada for the Government of Spain to Senator Patrick Burns School. They were accompanied by CBE Chair of Trustees, Patricia Bolger, Trustee Laura Hack, Chief Superintendent Joanne Pitman, Superintendent Dr. Mike Nelson, and Languages Director Martine Sawatsky as well as three representatives from Alberta Education. The delegation was greeted by our Student Council Presidents and Vice Presidents as well as Student Council Representatives from the Spanish Club who gave our guests a tour of our school, highlighting how we teach and learn Spanish as well as celebrate Spanish culture. The meeting culminated with a lunch for the Ambassador in our Learning Commons before the delegation moved on to their next stop. I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation to everybody involved who made this event a huge success, especially all our students and teachers who welcomed our guest into their classrooms. It was a day where Orgullo Bronco Pride was on full display.

Have a great weekend.

Let’s bring our best energy and our Best Orgullo Bronco to the court and make this a memorable event! 🏐✨

CTF Options – Food

Due to a mechanical fault, there is currently no electricity in the Foods Lab. Unfortunately, a critical part that is needed to repair the breaker has to be back ordered and will only arrive in late December. This means that there will be no stoves and microwaves available this month. We are sorry about this inconvenience.
