Band Updates and Rehearsals

Hello Band Families! Happy start to the school year, and I hope you have all had a great summer. I can’t wait to hear about your adventures, musical or otherwise. As we jump into the new school year, I would like to share rehearsal days with you to help in your planning. They will be as follows: 

·        Grade 7: Monday 3-4

·        Grade 8: Tuesday 3-4

·        Grade 9: Wednesday 3-4

·        NEW! Strings Club on Thursday 3-4

o   Do you have an interest in, or do you already play a stringed instrument? Join us on Thursdays after school to learn or improve on your skills in a relaxed environment focusing on learning by ear and collaborating. Guitars, violins/fiddles, cellos, ukeleles, mandolins are all welcome! Note: Instruments will not be provided – you will need to bring your own. 

Please note that rehearsals will not start until the beginning of October to allow us to get settled back into routines, and dive into the materials we will be working on for the first half of the year. Please keep an eye out for an email with further details including a calendar in the coming days.
